the Indian Rupee font is mapped to the grave accent (`) symbol on your PC’s keyboard and you can use the Indian currency font immediately after installing it. For installation, just drag the Rupee font (rupee foradian.ttf) to your ‘C’ Drive Windows’ Font folder.

All you require is to open a word file, select font as Rupee Foradian and press above tab button (`) symbol.

HOW to use the india rupee in micro soft office font

1. downoad the font (rupee foradian) by the link

2. extract that file using win rar or win zip

3.install the font.(copy the font to control panel > fonts folder)

4. change the font the default(Times New Roman/ Arial? calibri) to rupees foradian font.

5. type rupees symbol in Microsoft Word through the grave acent symblo ` (the key just above the “Tab” button in your keyboard).

Please note that we can use the rupee symbol globally only after unicode approves it. With this launch we have proved that, if all of us work together, we don’t have to wait for anyone else to approve the symbol to start using it. If we start using it others wil have to follow.

All that is really remarkable about the Indian economy is the gargantuan hype generated about it by the Indian govt. and sections of the media (that is swallowed hook, line and sinker by most among the middle classes) !!

Indian and the Indian economy truly manage every time to make themselves inconspicuous and irrelevant on the world stage !!

When the reality is thus, it is truly hilarious that the Indian govt. keeps trying to wear oversized boots in the matter of ‘projecting India’ (as the whole ruckus about the ‘symbol for the rupee’ is about) !!

I have researched so many applications which can extract email IDs from the PST files for 2-3 days and finally rounded up with this. I usually dont buy stuff, but there were really no freewares as of now.

Some others were pure money suckers like atomic – we have to buy a software and then the plugin costing about 80 bucks.

For the cost of 24.99 its doing a great job, I have sucked all my emails since 2007- pretty good job. Go for it.

Its basically us, the people. It means the people’s power…formed couple of years ago. I understand you were sarcastic but….if you try to understand and change your philosophy of how you want to be governed and how much government do you want in your individual life…that is more important. Loksatta is just a name if you don’t get its philosophy.

And the philosophy is so good that you will atleast have less corruption if not none.

In Loksatta’s philosophy, you will fund your schools, colleges, local roads etc. You will have the right to hire your local teachers, policemen, judges and not someone sitting in your state/district/new Delhi headquarters. Central and State govt’s will make a policy and the local govts will execute.You and your local community will be more important…you will attract investors to your town because it benefits, you will help create jobs. Regarding mines, you will locally decide who should rig your place and not someone sitting in delhi/hyderabad, you will decide who should run trains, buses, water and not the national govt.

Do you now understand why so many people demand for small states, because they atleast this way they would get more share of funds…in reality what people are actually asking for is need for more local governance.

For loksatta to come to power, it might take us another 100 years and that doesn’t matter. As long those few would understand the philosophy and would take the lamp forward.

By the way corruption is a criminal issue only aided by politics. So you have to target legal and policing branch – not the policy making. As for Loksatta, it basically asks for a strong judicial system in order to have fear for law of land. You would also have less corruption if tax payer money is transparently spent and that can happen through strong local governments.

Is our political leadership so desperate for western funds? Our is west always so right that- you have to say yes to everything.

If you wanna prevent and atleast get properly compensated in case of an accident or be able to sue the operator for negligence, the bill has to be amended. Avoid Bhopal like Tragedy once again

There are many competitors who are willing to act as operators, we have every right to frame the conditions and not be beggars.

Looks like the whole deal is a scandal, playing to some big hands….
